Glass moves through multiple production steps before it is ready for delivery or installation. Throughout that process, IG units and flat glass need to stay protected, organized and easy to access. Different glass types and thicknesses also come with different handling requirements.
The new Deltarack brush-protected transport rack range for glass is designed around these needs, with purpose-built configurations for safely handling IG units and flat glass throughout the workshop.
Protect glass throughout every production step
Sensitive glass surfaces require protection during repeated handling. Side brushes help protect sensitive glass surfaces from hard contact points, while a grooved HMPE 1000 base keeps each pane positioned and provides a durable contact surface for repetitive loading and unloading.
Each pane or IG unit also has its own position, keeping the glass separated and directly accessible. There is no need to unload an entire stack just to reach the glass you need.
Purpose-built configurations for IG units and flat glass
Not every type of glass requires the same setup. That’s why the range uses different positioning configurations for IG units and flat glass, with both the brushes and the grooves in the HMPE 1000 base positioned to match the intended glass type.
For IG units, the positioning is wider to accommodate the thickness of insulating glass units or double glazing. For flat glass, the positioning is closer together to handle mirrors, glass doors, shower glass and monolithic glass and other flat glass components.
This purpose-built approach makes it possible to choose a configuration based on the glass you actually handle.
Choose the right configuration for your glass
The range is built around two glass-specific configurations, each available in Standard and High versions. This results in four variants:
IG Standard: 29 slots with brush positioning for IG thicknesses and a lower-height profile for ergonomic loading.
IG High: 29 slots with an additional brush level for extra vertical support.
Flat glass Standard: 45 slots with closer brush positioning and a lower-height handling profile.
Flat glass High: 45 slots with an additional brush level for taller flat glass and project components.

Keep every pane organized and accessible
Direct access to individual panes and IG units helps keep production organized between workstations. Instead of moving other glass out of the way, operators can access the pane they need directly.
This reduces unnecessary handling while keeping glass organized as it moves through production toward delivery or installation.
Move glass through your workshop with ease
The transport racks can be moved with a pallet jack or handled with a forklift. Optional wheels can also be added for mobile transport within the workshop.
Each configuration features modular assembly and is available in a Standard or High version, allowing the transport rack to match different production flows and glass dimensions.
Find the right configuration for your glass workflow
Choose an IG configuration for insulating glass units or double glazing, or a flat glass configuration for mirrors, glass doors, shower glass and monolithic glass and other flat glass components. For additional vertical support or taller components, choose the High version.
